This workout is only short but it will have you sweating and hurting. It is designed to keep your muscles long and lean like a ballerina and strengthen your core like Pilates. 

I first tried Xtend Barre at Sense of Space in Subiaco, Western Australia with the wonderful Catriona and fell in love with it. Actually it is the only class I have done because it isn't where I live.

The following short workout is presented by Lorna Jane and instructed by Rockell from Xtend Barre and I love doing it every day as I always feel lengthened and energised after the workout, but I would recommend that you limit this to 2-3 times a week if you are just starting out. 

Also please concentrate on your form (look in a mirror if you can) and go only as far as your body will allow you to. "Perfect form is the key to impressive performance!"
